THE DELICATA CLASSIC WINE FESTIVAL
MALTA’S GREATEST WINE EVENT IS BACK
for its 15th year at the Upper Barrakka Gardens in Valletta
on the 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th August 2016, from 7.00pm until midnight.
The Delicata Classic Wine Festival is back for its 15th year, at the Upper Barrakka Gardens in Valletta on the 4th, 5th, 6th & 7th August 2016, from 7.00pm till midnight – and then 2 weeks later on the 19th, 20th & 21st August it happens all over again in Nadur, Gozo.
The way it works is simple – Entrance is free. To try the wines simply purchase a wristband for the night and a souvenir glass for €14.00 (which is then yours to keep) upon entrance to the gardens. The last glasses and wristbands are sold at 11.00pm, the last wine is poured at 11.30pm and the festival closes at midnight. No glasses or bottles will be sold or alcohol poured to anyone under the age of 17.
Top Local bands will be performing throughout the 4 nights and expertly prepared cuisine will be sold by Malta’s leading caterers with a dining area on the Saluting battery also set up on Friday Saturday and Sunday. Above all, visitors will be able to sample over 20 of Delicata’s D.O.K. and I.G.T Maltese wines including Gran Cavalier, Grand Vin de Hauteville, Medina, Classic Collection, Dolcino and many more.
