Green Label and Red Label are now certified organic
Delicata’s popular Green Label and Red Label wines, beloved in Malta since the 1970s, have now received organic certification.
These wines, known for their consistency and excellent value, continue to be crafted with the latest winemaking techniques to ensure the same fresh, fruit-forward flavours. But the new organic bottlings now bring a more sustainable option to wine lovers concerned about their environmental impact.
Both the dry crisp and fruity white and the soft and smooth red blend proffer the same classic taste combined with the added benefit of being 100% organic – as indicated on the extra sticker on the bottle’s front and by the official mention on the back label.
Wine can only be certified as organic when its grapes are grown in accordance with organic farming principles. This implies the use of grapes that are cultivated without the use of any artificial chemical fungicides, pesticides, herbicides or fertilizers.
Green Label and Red Label are such a trustworthy sustainable and eco-friendly choice for wine enthusiasts without the higher price tag usually associated with organic wine.
Organic wines are typically more expensive due to the sustainable farming methods involved but Delicata’s Green Label and Red Label remain as affordable as ever. They deliver value at their established price point and present a flavoursome pair for everyday enjoyment, now with the added benefit of being fully organic.
Besides, the two wines also come in eco-friendly glass bottles that may be returned when empty to the shops from where Delicata collects them for reuse.
