Fast Track at Wine Festival

Wine enthusiasts that hold a Delicata Privilege Card and plan on visiting this year’s Delicata Classic Wine Festival at Valletta’s Upper Barrakka Gardens on 4, 5, 6, and 7 August will be delighted to learn that the winery is providing them with a fast track hospitality desk.

The Delicata Privilege Card, launched last May, was met with great interest and the uptake is beyond the winery’s expectations. Apart from doubling up as a velvet rope pass to Delicata events, the Card also offers other exclusive benefits.

If you are already a holder of a Delicata Privilege Card, you may now pre-book tickets to the greatest wine event of the year for yourself and up to 3 accompanying friends through the Delicata corporate website.

The swift booking process is easy: just settle the standard fee of €14 online, print a copy of your booking confirmation and then, on the night, collect your wristband and festival wine glass from the Info and Privilege Card Desk at the venue, just inside the gates of the Upper Barrakka Gardens, against presentation of your printed ticket and personal Delicata Privilege Card.

Festival revellers making use of the Privilege Card fast track will not need to queue outside at the cash points of what is Malta’s most popular wine event.

The way the festival works remains unchanged. Entrance is free. In return for €14, which anyone can also settle on the night at any of the many cash tills, one gets to taste as many wines as one likes.

You will receive a festival glass and a wristband which when shown – as if it were a wine lover’s magic wand – will prompt dedicated wine stewards to pour a taster of the wine on show. Strictly no wine will be served to anyone under 17 and patrons are reminded to enjoy responsibly.
