The Delicata Winery is returning with another al fresco ‘Swirl & Spoon Soiree’, this time at Seed Restaurant in the award-winning Hyatt Regency Hotel in Saint Julian’s.
This is one in a series of unceremonious wine and bite-sized food degustation events to the tunes of live music in a relaxed atmosphere.
This unique culinary discovery is brought to you by Malta’s award-winning winemaker Delicata and the Hyatt Regency Hotel kitchen brigade.
A delectable ultra-local wine selection of 5 boutique labels is paired and presented together with equally scrumptious and meticulously prepped spoon-sized dishes.
Come and head out with family and friends to the Hyatt Regency Hotel’s elegant patio with classic sophistication and comfy seating in the shade of the Priory and Chapel of St. Rita.
The 5 mini-dish creations are matched with quality home-grown and hand-crafted Maltese wines from Delicata’s Frizzante, Medina, Victoria Heights, Grand Vin de Hauteville and Gran Cavalier ranges.
The Glass and Spoon Matches have been curated in tandem by Hyatt Regency Hotel’s Executive Chef Ryan Marmara and Delicata’s wine pro Georges Meekers.
- Medina Girgentina, élevé sur lies, D.O.K. Malta, with a spoon of smoked eel royal lifted with lemon, chives and sesame seed.
- Gran Cavalier Sauvignon Blanc D.O.K. Malta, with a delicate prawn tartar and cucumber roll on the spoon
- Victoria Heights Shiraz Rose D.O.K. Gozo, with a special tomato and Tikka emulsion basil yoghurt mousse spoon parcel
- Grand Vin de Hauteville Cabernet Sauvignon D.O.K. Malta Superior, with a Spoon of sous-vide beef tataki, caramelised onion, spinach, and tarragon Wellington surprise.
- Moscato Perlato, Wine of Malta, with a Spoon of sweet mango, pistachio, and coconut mousse
Live music throughout the evening will add to the relaxed vibe of this special event.

The price is €38 per person including all the listed wines the spoon-served dishes, water and free parking at the hotel.
