New Release of Delicata’s Frizzante Wines

The Delicata winery has released the first two wines made from grapes of the 2018 vintage and they are the unique Girgentina and Ġellewża Frizzante.

Delicata’s Frizzante label consists of two semi-sparkling wines that are made entirely from the two indigenous grape varieties unique to Malta.

The brut Frizzante is made from the white grape of Malta called Girgentina and the démi-sec rosé Frizzante from the Maltese native red grape Ġellewża.

The Ġellewża Frizzante is an off-dry, semi-sparkling pink with a hint of sweetness and bags of fruity goodness. The dry Girgentina Frizzante has a lemony perfumed nose and a lovely freshness.

Both wines entice with a pleasing perlage of bubbles. In fact, the wines’ bright effervescence makes them perfect aperitifs and an ideal wine choice to start off any true celebratory menu this coming festive season.
